Our Services include educational tools, word and creativity games, and civic-education applications. We do not provide legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide may include:
- Account or profile information you choose to enter.
- Search queries, questions, or content you submit through our apps.
- License or subscription keys used to activate paid features.
- Feedback, support requests, or messages you send us.
Information collected automatically may include:
- Usage data, such as screens viewed, features used, and approximate timestamps.
- Device data, such as device type, operating-system version, and app version.
- Network data, such as IP address and request logs used for security and rate limiting.
Some Services use publicly available government records, including county property or GIS data, for educational purposes. This public information is not collected from you; it is public record made more accessible through our Services.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Services; respond to queries and deliver educational content; validate subscriptions and licenses; deliver notifications you enable; maintain security and prevent abuse; and comply with law or enforce our Terms of Use. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We may share limited information with service providers supporting hosting, analytics, or payment processing under agreements restricting its use; with government partners as aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics when covered by a written agreement; or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
4. AI-powered features
Some Services include automated assistants that generate educational responses from curated content and cited sources. Queries may be logged for quality improvement and abuse prevention. Do not submit sensitive personal information to AI-powered features.
5. Data retention
- Server logs: generally up to 90 days.
- App queries: generally up to 12 months.
- Subscription records: for the subscription term plus up to 24 months.
- Device-local data: until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Please report a concern to connect@zerebraldesigns.com.
7. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your choices
- Disable notifications in the relevant app or device settings.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing connect@zerebraldesigns.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We aim to respond within 30 days.
- Uninstall an app to remove its locally stored data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here. For material changes, we may also provide notice through the Services.
